The garlic can be balanced out with many toppings, including cheese, tomatoes, mayo, onion and some ketchup.

Ingredients:

2 pounds ground beef

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup minced onion

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian-style seasoning

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix together the beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.

Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours.

Preheat grill for high heat.

Form burgers into 1/2 inch thick patties.

Lightly oil grate and place burgers on grill.

Cook for approximately 5 – 6 minutes on each side.

The best part about this burger recipe is that it will keep the vampires away! Just kidding. You might want to add some breath mints as your dessert.

Some people love their burgers smothered with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. Other people prefer a hunk of onion and American cheese. This burger recipe is for people who love peppers!

The peppers can be mild or medium, depending on how you like your hotness.

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons sweet red pepper relish or canned peppers

1 teaspoon prepared yellow or Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 tablespoons grated red onion

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and mix lightly. Shape into 3 or 4 burgers.

Grill, broil, or pan grill the burgers for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or to desired temperature.

The burgers go great when adding cheese, lettuce, bacon, tomatoes and even an onion. To offset the heat of this burger, you can serve with guacamole on top.

The burgers are delicious without any condiments on the top, because they are all on the inside.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 cup seasoned stuffing

1 egg, beaten

1 can (4 oz) chopped mushrooms, drained

1/4 cup beef broth

1 teaspoon lemon juice

3 pounds ground beef

1 teaspoon salt

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, stuffing, egg, mushrooms, broth, green onion and lemon juice; set aside.

In a separate bowl combine ground beef with salt; form into 16 patties (about 1/4 cup each).

Top 8 patties with a scant 1/4 cup of stuffing mixture then cover with remaining patties.

Pinch edges to seal stuffing in.

Place on a greased grill or grill container and grill over medium coals for about 10 to 12 minutes per side.

You can top this burger with cheese and lettuce, but it is delicious all on its own. This burger recipe provides the entree and even the side dish! What could be better than two birds with one stone.

Don’t have time for a drink with your burger? Combine them! This burger recipe has soda in it to give it a sweet and juicy flavor that is so unique, you’ll be wanting more!

You can’t take a straw to your burger, but you’ll definitely want to try this recipe again.

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

Directions:

Preheat grill on high heat. Lightly oil the grate.

Crumble in the ground beef, and mix well.

Form into 6 balls, and pat into 3/4 inch patties.

Throw some cherries in your burger recipe and see how juicy it becomes!

Cherries are quickly becoming one of the hottest foods around. Not because of their sweet and juicy taste. Not because of their smooth texture. Cherries are becoming an “It” food because of their health benefits.

Throw some cherries in your burger recipe and see how juicy it is. We promise you won’t mind the health benefits either!

Ingredients:

1/2 small sweet onion cut into thin rounds

12 ounces lean ground beef

1/2 cup dried cherries, finely chopped

1/2 cup coarse dry whole-wheat breadcrumbs

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

4 lettuce leaves

Method:

Preheat grill to medium.

Place beef in a large bowl and gently mix in cherries, breadcrumbs, garlic, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper until combined.

Divide into 4 equal portions and form into 1/2-inch-thick patties. Make a slight impression in the center of each. (This is so the patties cook evenly and don’t puff up.)

Oil the grill rack.

Grill the patties until browned, 5 to 6 minutes per side.

Not only do you get a great entree from this meal, it helps with the number of servings of fruit you get during the day too. Try this recipe and you will be surprised at the sweet results.

Here is a “burger” recipe that uses salmon in the patties. Fresh salmon works best, but you can also try frozen and thawed salmon fillets.

Ingredients:

2 1/2 pounds king salmon fillet, skinned and de-boned

1 cup cubed, dry bread

1/2 cup diced onion

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

2 teaspoons prepared horseradish

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 tablespoon rosemary

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

Method:

Prepare the salmon by cutting into strips, making sure all bones are removed, and chopping the fish until well minced.

In a large bowl, mix the minced salmon with bread, onion, mustard, horseradish, and eggs. Season with rosemary, salt, and pepper.

Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour.

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat.

Form the salmon mixture into 8 burger patties. Lightly coat each patty with olive oil.

Place salmon patties on the grill, and cook 4 or 5 minutes on each side.

The salmon patty burger gives a little variety from the summer beef version. Both are great in the own right, but appreciated separately too!

If you enjoyed these salmon patties, take a look at this Tuna Burger recipe.

Burgers aren’t just for beef lovers anymore. If you are a fan of seafood, listen up!

Here’s a great recipe for tuna burgers.

Ingredients:

1 (6 ounce) can tuna, drained
1 egg
1/2 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1/3 cup minced onion
1/4 cup minced celery
1/4 cup minced red bell pepper
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chili sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
4 hamburger buns
1 tomato, sliced
4 leaves of lettuce

Directions:

Combine tuna, egg, bread crumbs, onion, celery, red bell pepper, mayonnaise, hot chili sauce, chili sauce, dill, salt, pepper, hot pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Mix well.

Shape into 4 patties and refrigerate for 30 minutes to make the patties easier to handle.

Cook:

Coat a non-stick skillet with cooking spray and drop patties in for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through. These are fragile, so be careful when turning them.

Serve on buns with tomato slices and lettuce leaves.

Charlie the tuna won’t like this recipe, but you sure will. Try this one out and let us know how you liked it.
