Four Herb Burgers
By admin • Dec 10th, 2007 • Category: Burger RecipesThese Four Herb burgers make a change from the usual cheeseburger recipes. You can experiment with your own choice of herbs and don’t forget to sprinkle some fresh herbs over the melted cheese.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon of fresh chopped basil
- 1/2 tablespoon of fresh chopped chives
- 1/2 tablespoon of fresh chopped rosemary
- 1/2 tablespoon of fresh chopped thyme
- 1 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 egg, beaten
- salt and pepper
- your choice of cheese, sliced
- 4 burger buns
Method:
- Combine the beef, all the fresh herbs, lemon juice, bread crumbs, egg and salt and pepper in a large bowl and mix well. Make sure the herbs are not all clumped in once place in the beef, sprinkle them all over the beef gradually.
- Shape the beef mixture into 4 patties and grill or broil each burger for 5 minutes on each side or until the meat is fully cooked. Before the burgers are cooked, add a slice of cheese to each burger and allow it to melt.
- Serve in toasted burger buns with a sprinkle of fresh herbs on each burger.
Suggested burger topping: try lettuce and coleslaw. More burger toppings.

mmmmmmmmm yummmy,you know my favorite homemade burgers are mince meat,a little onion,barbaque sauce,tomatoe sauce ,pepper,garlic puree,and a pinch of salt some jalapenoes,mix it all together thin or thick some pepper over the top once formed then cook however u like,i do mine in the oven soooooo tasty cause they keep all the juices on the tray xx
