With the strong flavor of Parmesan cheese added to the ground beef these burgers are a must for anyone who likes a good portion of cheese on their burger.
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and pepper
- slivers of Parmesan cheese
- sun-dried tomato paste
- Italian bread
- Combine the ground beef, crushed tomatoes, grated parmesan, garlic, oregano and salt and pepper in a large bowl and mix well. Shape into 4 patties.
- Grill the burgers for 4 minutes on each side. Serve on Italian bread spread with the sun-dried tomato paste and sprinkle with the parmesan slivers.
