Texas Chili Burgers
By admin • Dec 13th, 2007 • Category: Burger RecipesThese Texas Chili burgers have the chili flavors in the beef patties and should be topped off just like a bowl of Texas nachos. Makes 4 Texas Chili Burgers.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 small onion, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 4 burger buns
Method:
- Combine the beef, minced onion, chili powder, cumin, lime juice, garlic and oregano in a large bowl and mix well. Shape the mixture into 4 patties and Broil or Grill them for around 4 minutes on each side or until the meat is cooked through.
- Serve on regular burger buns and top with your choice of refried beans, chopped onion, jalapeƱos, nacho cheese and salsa.
Suggested burger topping: try Mexican beef chili. More burger toppings.
